Nah, don't worry, it was just a bad joke in my e-mail. All is well, I went to the office of the football association today to check things out - and we will be playing in League C!

The REAL bad news is that you will have to elect me Player of the Year and lifetime President of Honour because I convinced the Football Association to let us get our well earned position in League C, exclusively due to my amazing eloquence using arguments such as "deadlines are for nerds", "we are the kindest team to have walked the Earth since it was flat" and "we promise that all (but one) of us won't dive to pretend that we were fouled all of next season" :)

As you can see, we are already number 1 (along with 10 other teams) or second to last, depending on your perspective. Personally I only recognise one team amongst the opponent names which is Bistro Alliancen. We played them in 2007 (the forgettable year where we relegated from League C as number 12 and last. They came in 8th in that season).
